Zeynep Pınar Ünal, the founder and designer of İkona Architecture and Design Atelier, completed her primary and secondary education at TED Ankara College and her undergraduate and graduate education at METU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. After working as a research assistant at the university for a short time, he worked in various architectural offices. Zeynep Pınar Ünal, who participated in many architecture and design competitions at home and abroad, started designing special furniture in 2010 and founded İkona Architecture and Design Atelier in 2012.

Since this date, the designer has been producing his furniture and accessories with carpenters, iron, copper and flooring masters, glass, textile and lighting craftsmen who have high quality and meticulous hand workmanship.
